Beaverton, Oregon December 18, 2009-Tualatin Valley Community Television was recently honored at the 2009 Oregon State Bar Awards dinner held at the Benson Hotel in Portland Oregon on December 2nd. The Oregon State Bar Awards recognize non members and volunteers who dedicate their time making substantial contributions to the public and legal profession.

TVCTV was awarded the Oregon State Bar President's Award for Public Service which acknowledges an organization's continuous involvement in law related public education.

Community TV Manager Dave Slay was recognized for his efforts in helping OSB members, staff and volunteers produce Legal Links, a legal information talk show produced monthly at the TVCTV studios.  TVCTV's Community TV staff members have also actively been involved in producing other various OSB projects over the past several years.
