TVCTV ONCE AGAIN RECOGNIZED WITH NATIONAL AWARD
Beaverton, Oregon July 20th, 2010 - Tualatin Valley Community Television is pleased to announce that the "Lake Oswego Teen Summer Reading PSA" has placed as a finalist in the 2010 National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) Government Programming Awards. These awards recognize excellence in broadcast, cable, multimedia, and electronic programming by government access stations throughout the country.
Every spring TVCTV and the Lake Oswego Public Library team up to produce a promotional video that encourages Lake Oswego's youth to read more during the summer months. This year's futuristic, spy-themed PSA was shot entirely on location at the Lake Oswego Library with the help of the Library Teen Club. The video can be seen on TVCTV's website: www.tvctv.org.
As a finalist, TVCTV can receive a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place award for this PSA. Awards will be presented at the 2010 Government Programming Awards Banquet the evening of October 1st in Washington D.C., as part of NATOA's 30th Annual Conference.
