TVCTV WINS FIRST PLACE NATIONAL AWARD |

Beaverton, Oregon October 11, 2010 - Tualatin Valley Community Television (TVCTV) is proud to announce that it received top honors at the 2010 National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors Government Programming Awards (GPA's) held at the Washington Court Hotel, Washington D.C. These awards recognize excellence in broadcast, cable, multimedia, and electronic programming produced by government access stations throughout the country. For the second consecutive year, TVCTV has earned a top three finish in this competition that receives over twelve-hundred program entries nationwide. TVCTV's "Lake Oswego Public Library Teen Summer Reading PSA" took home the prestigious first place trophy in the Library Events Coverage category. The "Teen Summer Reading" video follows a group of Lake Oswego "teen spies" as they work to convince other teens about the benefits of the Library's summer reading programs.
