What We Do

TVCTV makes a broad array of local information available on area cable systems.   Public affairs and arts programming, Spanish language and bilingual programming, educational telecourses, local government meeting coverage, candidate forums, live call-in programs and more are featured on our Channels.  Hundreds of volunteer community producers develop local programming seen on Channels 21, 11/22 and 23.  Our award-winning Government Programming department creates essential programming for governments and other agencies seen on Channels 28 and 30.

Media Access

TVCTV makes media tools available to the public for noncommercial communication over the cable system.  Through TVCTV, local organizations and individuals have direct access to camcorders, editing systems, television studios, and local cable channels. Media Education

Local organizations and individuals learn to become effective communicators in the Information Age through TVCTV's media workshops.  Participants experience hands-on learning with the tools of television and gain a critical understanding of the role of media in society. Read more about Training >>

Media Production

In partnership with a variety of organizations, TVCTV develops community television programming which celebrates local culture, builds awareness of the growing diversity within the Tualatin Valley, and stimulates discourse around community issues. Read more about our Government Programming >>

Strategic Communications Assistance

TVCTV provides groups and individuals with assistance in assessing and meeting their communications goals.  Staff provides ongoing support and technical assistance to individual media makers, as well as to community organizations and institutions.
