Learn Television Production!

Here at TVCTV, we offer two different basic series of classes:  Studio production & Field production.  These classes teach the fundamentals behind television production and instruct students on the proper operation of our equipment.

Studio Production

A series of 5 classes that provide instruction using top-notch professional equipment on both the studio floor and in the control room.  Through hands-on education, students become comfortable operating the equipment while learning proper television production techniques.  Students also directly participate in several real-life practice shows as well as a final production which we air on our channels.

Field Production

A series of 6 classes (3 field equipment training classes & 3 editing classes).  The first three classes cover proper operation of video cameras, audio gear and lighting, as well as time-proven production theories and real world techniques.  Students use this knowledge to go out into the field to shoot footage for their own exciting final productions.  The subsequent three classes cover basic Editing.  Students bring the footage they have shot into our editing bays to learn basic editing techniques with Apple's Final Cut Studio software in order to properly assemble their epic productions.  And if you are only interested in the three Editing classes instead of the field equipment training classes, or vice versa, not a problem.  This class is designed so you are able to take only the portion of the class you desire.

Once you have completed our series of informative classes, most everything here at TVCTV is...
